Portia and Ryver have a "secret" hiding place in the kitchen under the bar. It's a cupboard that I don't have anything in. One day I came around the corner and found the sweetest thing. Portia was reading to Ryver. Portia has really gotten into reading this summer. She loves it and loves reading to anybody that will listen. I think it's really helped Ryver seeing Portia reading, and me reading to Portia has. I used to have the hardest time reading to him because he wouldn't have anything to do with it. Now I have to tell him that it's time to stop! I hope Portia and Ryver continue loving to read.
