Eastern Idaho State Fair

We took a Saturday afternoon and evening to go down to Blackfoot and go to the fair. Wow, note to self, not wise to go on the last day, or on a Saturday for that matter! It was crazy busy, people shoulder to shoulder. Not our style. We fought through the lines to make it to the FREE area! Gotta love the petting area and the fun games and toys for kids. Ryver wasn't much into the petting of the animals, and cried even if we just tried to get a picture with him standing next to a cow or lamb. So we went for the safe bet...milking the fake cow! Okay it was actually watering the fake cow. He loved the idea of riding the red tractor.

The real reason we were there was for the demolition derby! I secretly was the one that really wanted to go to this. Ryver loved it and Scott liked it for the first 2 hours. It lasted almost 4 hours, maybe a little too long but it was still fun! Cars crashing into each other, smoke, and radiator fluid squirting every where. What's a boy not to love about that, even your occasional girl likes it!
