Ryver has been waiting for Easter to come for about 3 weeks. He marked it on the calender with his name and a smiley face. He remembers last year going to an Easter Egg hunt in La Grande and he had so much fun. This year we went to the city park for a hunt. The park is only 2 blocks down from us so we didn't have very far to go. Ryver went in his snow boots and all. We had snow on the ground in most places. We had to walk through snow to get to the egg hunt. Ryver did great. He went right in and started gathering. He wasn't scared and didn't need any encouraging words at all. He did want Scott to stand with him to wait though. He said Dad was wearing his blue sweater so he could see Dad better and wouldn't get lost. After he picked up an egg or candy he'd look up and find Dad to make sure he was still there. He's kind-of a nervous kid about getting lost and us leaving him. I promise we have never done that and he has never been lost.
Myka was all bundled up in a little cozy winter suit. She was my cute, and cuddly, lamb! She rode in the stroller and slept the majority of the time. She'll have fun next year, I hope!
Donald Duck drove in front of us. Ryver said is that duck the Easter bunny. Our son is bright! Ryver made the comment, "Mom, can I dump my candy out like Halloween?" It looked like it was Halloween with all the candy.
Ryver's glasses are awesome and Myka looks so snuggly in her suit, I just want to pick her up out of the picture and squeeze her!
