A tradition that I think started with my Grandma Elsie and Grandma Betty was making sugar cookies for the many different holidays. My Mom carried that on and even would send them to me in college and before I was married. I guess she figures now that I should be making them for my family. I'm so not a baker but every time I make them they are getting better. Ryver and I whipped up a batch so we could send some to Portia. Ryver loves the dough and loved decorating his one cookie. He was content with just one, which was okay by me.
