Bancroft Christmas Party!

We made a special trip to Bancroft for the traditional Christmas party and program. Every year since I can remember they do this on Christmas Eve, but this year was on the 23rd which turend out to be great. It's a short program at the church in the gym and we sing songs and then Santa comes in with his bells and toy bag. Everybody sits on his lap and gets some candy! Ryver was all about Santa this year...at a distance! Grandma Sherry took him to stand in line and he stood with her for 20 minutes. He got right up on stage and started walking towards Santa and then changed his mind and ran to Grandma. She took him up there and he was still not very willing. They pulled out the candy cane and a bag of candy he stopped crying for a second and then that was it. The pictures aren't great but I still see it clearly in my head. Love being close to home and having traditions still alive even at my age.
