Ryver and I have try to make story time at the library on Wednesday mornings. This particular one was fun and exciting for the kids. They had the local Central Fire Department there. They talked to the kids about what to do if there was a fire. One of the fireman had his full gear on. They wanted the kids to see what they would look like if they ever needed to come save them from their house so they wouldn't be scared. It was really fun and educational. They had the fire truck outside that the kids could get in and look around. Ryver wasn't so keen on this idea. He wouldn't get in the cab or even get close to it. Funny, cautious boy. He did stand on the back of the truck so I could get a picture of him. As you can tell he isn't very happy in the picture below.
